The final table of the European Poker Tour Main Event is on its way with only nine players surviving from the initial field of 848 poker players. After five days of intense action, only 24 lucky players remained in the competition and during Sunday the final table was decided with Kyle Bowker as chip leader with 7,165,000. The other players are: David Vamplew, Tom Marchese, Fernando Brito, Per Ummer, Artur Wasek, Kayvan Payman and John Juanda.

In terms of chips, Juanda and Bower are way ahead of the other players, which gives them an extra advantage. Scottish player David Vamplew ended in third place in the chip ranking and he has half as many poker chips as Juanda and Bower. Such a difference in the amount of chips probably means that players with fewer chips will be eliminated earlier in the game.

There were some disappointments on the way to final table, including American player Chance Kornuth, who ended Day 3 as chip leader but had a bad day on Sunday and never recovered from two really bad hands. Other poker players who were sent home were Chad Brown, Joe Hachem, Steven Levy, Thomas Bichon, Matt Perrins and Allen Bari.

The leg of the European Poker Tour in the United Kingdom started last week and was a success due to the record number of players it attracted. Today will be the day in which the free poker game will resume and poker fans will have the chance to discover the winner of this edition.
