Lundmark is the winner of EPT Barcelona

Poker player Kent Lundmark was proclaimed the winner of the prestigious EPT Barcelona last week and won €825,000. He is now new in the poker circuit and previously ended second at the Nordic Masters of Poker taking home $69,911 and in 29th place at the 2010 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure with a prize of $66,000.

Lundmark commented that winning the EPT event was a great feeling. “This is one of the biggest tournaments you can win in poker. I've been running good all tournament, I was very lucky,” the poker player said. A total of 758 poker players signed up for the €5,300 buy-in poker tournament that took place at Casino Barcelona.

A total of 180 players won their seat at online satellites and the event attracted some famous names. However, the final table was mainly filled with new faces. The €5,300 EPT Prague will be the next event in the EPT schedule and it will take place from 13th December to 18th December.

Jesus Cortes Lizano took home the second place winning €525,000 and Konstantin Puchkov finished in third place with €300,000. Shander de Vries was fourth with a prize of €222,000, Giuseppe Pantaleo finished fifth and won €170,000 and Thor Stang was sixth with €130,000. Georgios Skotadis and Francesco Notaro also were part of the final table of the poker tournament.
